Now that you have gone through your first stage of brow removal, you must know how to take care of them.

For Emergency Removal

Discontinue the aftercare given from your previous permanent make up procedure.

You will not notice a difference right away. Once the scabbing has naturally flaked off, you can expect the pigment to fade 60 -99% when healing is complete but results will vary based on the previous procedure.

Beginning today:

Lightly dampen a cotton round or pad with the saline wound care solution provided in your aftercare kit. Pat brows 3 – 4 times a day for 7 days.

After all scabs have fallen:

Apply a tiny amount of Vitamin E oil provided in your kit on your brows 3-4 times a day with clean hands to hydrate the area and to assist with your healing. Repeat this step until your next appointment. (SCABS MUST ALL FLAKE OFF NATURALLY TO AVOID INFECTION AND SCARRING)

Although you have been provided with Vitamin E in your kit to start you off with, you may need to purchase a small bottle from any store or pharmacy that has it available.

Ensure hands are washed clean whenever you are treating your brows

FOR THE NEXT TWO WEEKS

·  Picking, scratching or rubbing your brows

·  Makeup on brows (powders, foundation

or brow makeup)

·  Excess water

·  Excess sun exposure

·  Sweat producing workouts

·  Sleeping on either side of your face

Tap to release any itching

Pat to dry with a clean piece of paper towel if water gets on the brows.

GUIDELINES

If you work at high-risk facilities such as gyms, schools, and hospitals please make sure to cover the wound to avoid any infections.

Often times the wound might present some lymph fluid drainage. In that case, just blot the area with a clean paper towel but make sure not to rub!

Avoid the use of any cosmetic products or makeup on the wound as it will delay healing and may also infect the area.

Avoid wetting the wound in the shower or while washing your face. The area must be left dry for best results.
